Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently control temperatures of an end effector and robot arm.SOLUTION: An articulated robot is provided with a robot arm, an end effector mounted on a hand tip part of the robot arm, a controller for controlling movement of the robot arm and the end effector, and a temperature control mechanism. The temperature control mechanism is provided with an end effector temperature control member which is arranged on the end effector and has a flow passage of a medium inside, a joint mechanism temperature control member which is arranged on at least one of joint mechanisms of the robot arm and has a flow passage of the medium, and medium piping. A medium system, in which the end effector temperature control member is positioned on an upstream side of a flow of the medium than the joint mechanism temperature control member, is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
