Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut a recording medium even in a state in which a recording medium is pressed by a presser.SOLUTION: A printer 1 comprises: a platen 51 which has a cutter groove 52 where a cutter 27 is moved, and which supports a recording medium 9 which covers the cutter groove 52 so that an edge 9e of the recording medium 9 straddles the cutter groove 52 in a transport direction; and a presser 60R attached to the platen 51. The presser 60R comprises: a pair of clamp parts 61R, 62R each of which is arranged on each of an upstream side and a downstream side in the transport direction of the cutter groove 52 with a gap, and press the recording medium 9 to the platen 51; and a fixing member 70R for fixing the clamp parts 62R, 62R to the platen. The fixing member 70R comprises: a fitting part 73R which is fitted to the cutter groove 52 on an outside of the edge 9e of the recording medium 9 in an elastically deformed state; and a pair of connection parts 71R, 72R for connecting the fitting part 73R and the clamp parts 61R, 62R.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
