Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a lattice patterned resin sheet which can be used as a substitute for checker glass by roll forming of an extruded sheet-like object and has both a groove shape forming rate and linearity of a lattice pattern.SOLUTION: A molten thermoplastic resin is extruded into a sheet to obtain a sheet-like object 6, and the extruded sheet-like object 6 is first brought into contact with one of a longitudinal groove roll 1 and a lateral groove roll 2, or brought into contact with both of the longitudinal groove roll 1 and the lateral groove roll 2 at substantially the same time. With a point 9 at which the sheet-like object 6 first brought into contact with either the longitudinal groove roll 1 or the lateral groove roll 2 as a starting point, during the sheet-like object 6 rotates by a specific angle, a surface shape of the lateral groove roll 2 is transferred to one surface of the sheet-like object 6 by pressing the sheet-like object 6 with the lateral groove roll 2 and the longitudinal groove roll 1, and the surface shape of the longitudinal groove roll 1 is transferred to the other surface of the sheet-like object 6, and the sheet-like object 6 is embraced and held to the lateral groove roll 2 by a holding angle of 90° or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
