Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a reflection type liquid crystal display element with which it is possible to manufacture a high-quality reflection type liquid crystal display element.SOLUTION: According to one embodiment, the method of manufacturing a reflection type liquid crystal display element includes the steps of: forming a reference alignment mark 12 on the surface of a silicon wafer 10 for ICs; forming an alignment mark 22 for projection that corresponds to the reference alignment mark 12 on the surface of a glass wafer 20 for original plates; transferring the alignment mark 22 for projection formed on the surface of the glass wafer 20 for original plates to the surface of a glass wafer 30 for color filters and thereby forming a reference alignment mark 32 derived by reversing the alignment mark 22 for projection on the surface of the glass wafer 30 for color filters; and pasting the surface of the silicon wafer 10 for ICs and the surface of the glass wafer 30 for color filters together in such a way that the reference alignment marks 12, 32 face each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
