Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-quality reflection type liquid crystal display element and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: According to one embodiment, a method of manufacturing reflection type liquid crystal display element includes the steps of: forming an insulating layer 115, together with an electronic circuit, on the surface of a silicon substrate 121; forming a plurality of metal electrodes 112 for reflection on the surface of the insulating layer 115; forming a plurality of color filters 104-106 that correspond to the metal electrodes 112 for reflection on the surface of a glass substrate 101; forming a coating layer 102 so as to cover the plurality of color filters 104-106; forming a transparent electrode 107 on the surface of the coating layer 102; placing the silicon substrate 121 and the glass substrate 101 so as to face each other across a plurality of spacers 109, 114; and injecting a liquid crystal 113 into a space area between the silicon substrate 121 and the glass substrate 101.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
