PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of preventing, reducing or eliminating the incidence of male androgen deficiency symptoms or diseases including male hypogonadism-associated symptoms and diseases due to low testosterone and/or low peripheral androgen formation.SOLUTION: A method for prevention, reduction or elimination of the incidence of male androgen deficiency symptoms or diseases including male hypogonadism-associated symptoms and diseases comprises administering to a male patient in need of the prevention, reduction or elimination, a therapeutically effective amount of a sex steroid precursor or prodrug thereof in association with a therapeutically effective amount of a selective estrogen receptor modulator or an antiestrogen or a prodrug of either.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
