Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion secondary battery comprising, as a binder, a Si-containing negative electrode active material, polyimide, polyamide or polyamide imide, in which a high capacity and high cycle characteristics can be both achieved at high levels.SOLUTION: A lithium ion battery according to the present invention comprises: a positive electrode; a negative electrode (10); and a separator for partition between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The negative electrode (10) includes: a current collector (1); and a negative electrode mixture layer (5) provided on a surface of the current collector (1). The negative electrode mixture layer (5) has: a Si-containing negative electrode active material (2); and a binder (4) including polyimide, polyamide or polyamide imide, or a mixture thereof. In the current collector (1), a through-hole (20) is provided so that a discharge capacity Q(Ah/kg) of the negative electrode (10) and a porosity Y(%) of the current collector (1) satisfy the following expression 1: 0.1Q-40≤Y≤50 Expression 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
