Abstract:
To provide a sheet-detecting device and a sheet-carrying device, by which the installation space can be reduced; and an image-forming device having the same.SOLUTION: A sheet-detecting device and a sheet-carrying device comprise: a first lever 143 which have an abutting surface 143b capable of abutting on the tip of a sheet to be carried, and can move rotationally between a first position and a second position; a second lever 144 which is formed separately from the first lever 143, and can move rotationally around a turning center 190 between a third position and a fourth position; an urging spring 145 for linking the first lever 143 to the second lever 144; an optical sensor 146 which has a slit 146c, and can operate in response to the position of the second lever 144 as either a detection state of sheet where the sheet is detected or a non-detection state of sheet where the sheet is not detected; and an abutting surface 132a which abuts on the second lever 144 positioned at the fourth position, and in which the position abutting the second lever 144 is closer to the turning center 190 relative to the position abutting the slit 146c.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
