Abstract:
To provide a robot support system which improves vivid sensory perception by provision of olfactory information and in which a service robot can perform a guide service of a higher quality.SOLUTION: A robot support system comprises a service robot which provides a guide service to a user according to a guide menu at a location and a robot control device which is located near the service robot and controls operation of the service robot, and supports conversation between the user and the service robot. In this system, the robot control device includes an olfactory display which reacts to a voice emitted from the user, selects a desired fragrance source from plural fragrance sources, generates intended flavor and presents the same to the user, and drives the olfactory display depending on conversation between the service robot and the user according to the guide menu.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
