Abstract:
To solve a problem in which a motor driving device itself has not been able to detect a failure because a feedback current is not generated in a state that a motor is not connected to the motor driving device.SOLUTION: A motor driving device of an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an inverter for converting a DC voltage to an AC voltage by switching a plurality of power elements; a current detection unit for detecting a current outputted from the inverter; a current control unit for creating a voltage command; a control signal generation unit for controlling the switching of the plurality of power elements of the inverter; a dynamic brake circuit equipped with a plurality of relays for short-circuiting the output side terminals of the inverter through a plurality of resistors; a memory unit for memorizing a first threshold level for determining an initial current value and a presence/absence of failure; and a failure determination unit for determining the presence/absence of failure on the basis of the results acquired by comparing between the current deviation rate from the initial current value and the first threshold level in comparison with the current value and the initial current value after a predetermined time passes after the initial current value is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
