Abstract:
To provide a door tip sensor capable of detecting a door pinching state without depending on a contact area between a door tip rubber and a foreign substance, and determining whether or not the door pinching state is continued.SOLUTION: A door tip sensor 20 includes a door tip rubber 4 attached to a front end part in the closing direction of a door 2, and having a cavity 7 formed therein, and a cord switch 10 attached to the door tip rubber 4 and arranged along the extending direction of the cavity 7. The cord switch 10 has a tubular insulator tube 11 having elasticity that deforms accompanying elastic deformation of the door tip rubber 4, and a plurality of electrode wires 12 fixed to an inner surface of the insulator tube 11. The plurality of electrode wires 12 are not in contact with each other in a non-deformed state of the insulator tube 11, and come in contact with each other when the insulator tube 11 is deformed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
