Abstract:
To suppress degradation of strength of a side wall part of a case in forming a drain hole on the case constituting a pump chamber, and to make bubbles hardly accumulate in the drain hole.SOLUTION: A pump device 1 is provided with a pump chamber 9 between a housing 7 and a case 8. A drain hole 42 is formed not on an inner peripheral surface 91 of the pump chamber 9 but on a bottom surface 90. The drain hole 42 is connected to an inner opening portion 43 formed on the bottom surface 90, and extended in a radial direction at a position offset in an axial direction Z to the pump chamber 9. Thus degradation of strength of the side wall part of the case 8 can be prevented through the structure having the drain hole 42 on the side surface 82 of the case 8, is applied. Further as the inner opening portion 43 includes an inclined surface 431 connected to the bottom surface 90 at an obtuse angle, accumulation of bubbles in the drain hole 42 can be suppressed. Thus generation of foreign sound, degradation of pump characteristic, and breakage of an impeller 2 can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
