Abstract:
To provide a vehicle control method and a vehicle system for controlling a posture of a vehicle by adding deceleration to a vehicle, capable of properly setting deceleration added to the vehicle for controlling the posture of a vehicle, even any abnormality occurs in acceleration/deceleration of the vehicle by a single pedal.SOLUTION: A vehicle control method comprises: a step for selecting any pedal mode out of a normal travel mode and a single pedal mode; a step for setting added deceleration by deceleration characteristic for the normal travel mode, based on a steering angle of the vehicle (1) when the normal travel mode is selected; a step for setting the added deceleration based on deceleration characteristic for the single pedal mode, based on the steering angle of the vehicle, when the single pedal mode is selected and a single pedal system is normal; and a step for, when the single pedal mode is selected and the single pedal system is not normal, based on the steering angle of the vehicle, setting deceleration added to the vehicle based on deceleration characteristic for the normal travel mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
