Abstract:
To provide an optical element capable of reproducing clear image quality by preventing ghost, flare, etc. caused by unwanted light reflecting from an outer periphery of an edge portion thereof, and to provide an image capturing lens.SOLUTION: An optical element 100 comprises an optically effective portion 101 and an edge portion 102 formed around the optically effective portion 101, the edge portion 102 having a rugged pattern 200 formed on an outer periphery 103 thereof.
