Abstract:
To provide a process for producing (poly)thiol compound, in which the target (poly)thiol compound can be obtained in high yield, and furthermore the reaction time is shortened, and the by-products are reduced, resulting in excellent production efficiency.SOLUTION: The process for producing (poly)thiol compound of the present invention comprises a step of reacting, under microwave irradiation, an organic halogen compound having a sulfur atom at a carbon atom located at the β-position of a halogen atom with a thiolating agent to thiolate the organic halogen compound.SELECTED DRAWING: None
