Abstract:
To provide a method and unit for manufacturing a lens cap, capable of suppressing accuracy variation when forming a lens part in a cap base material, and provide the lens cap.SOLUTION: A unit for manufacturing a lens cap 20 includes a first die 21 used as a stationary die and a second die 22 used as a movable die; the first die 21 has a molding surface 28 used as a mold when forming a lens part 3 in a cap base material 2; the molding surface 28 includes a step-like depression 29 used as the mold of the lens part 3 and a support surface 33 supporting the top 5 of the cap base material 2 when forming the lens part 3; and the step-like depression 29 is formed in a so-called counterboring shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
