Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a carbon fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin composite material of a complicated shape by heat-press molding using a prepreg containing a carbon fiber and a thermoplastic resin.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a carbon fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin composite material 1 comprising a base part 2 and at least one projected rib part 3 provided on at least one surface of the base part 2, which comprises: a step of preparing a laminate 6 comprising a non-reinforced thermoplastic resin layer 5 and a carbon fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin layer 4 containing a plurality of prepregs which are provided on at least one surface of the non-reinforced thermoplastic resin layer 5 and are oriented randomly; and a step of forming the rib part 3 by plastically deforming at least a part of the carbon fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin layer 4 into a projection shape by heat-press molding of the laminate 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
