Abstract:
To provide a technology that can inhibit an ink from peeling from tablets after discharge of ink droplets even in a case that the ink droplets are discharged to tablets, such as film coating tablets and sugar coating tables, which have high liquid repellency on its surface and into which a liquid does not penetrate easily.SOLUTION: A tablet printer is a device which prints images on surfaces of tablets in inkjet printing and includes: a transport mechanism which transports the tablets along a predetermined transport path; a head which discharges ink droplets to the surfaces of the tablets transported by the transport mechanism; and a preheat part which heats the tablets at the upstream side of the head in the transport path. After the tables are heated by the preheat part, the ink droplets are discharged to the surfaces of the heated tablets. The process achieves improvement of fixability of an ink on the surfaces of the tablets.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
