Abstract:
To provide an ultraviolet-absorbing monomer allowing synthesis of a polymer inhibiting migration of an ultraviolet-absorbing component while screening out the ultraviolet and the visible light in a short wavelength region.SOLUTION: The invention provides an ultraviolet-absorbing monomer represented by the general formula (1). Preferably, the ultraviolet absorber represented by the general formula (1) is used as an acrylic polymer resulting from polymerization together with other monomers. Preferably, the acrylic polymer contains 2-50 mass% of the ultraviolet absorber represented by the general formula (1) in the monomer mixture.SELECTED DRAWING: None
