Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a carbon fiber woven fabric capable of sufficiently suppressing bending of weft yarns and to provide a tension measuring apparatus.SOLUTION: A method for producing a carbon fiber woven fabric uses a woven fabric production apparatus that is provided with a pair of rolls capable of adjusting the contact pressure distribution of a nip roll in a width direction of the carbon fiber woven fabric between a pressing roll and a winding roll, in a state that a carbon fiber woven fabric is held between the nip roll and a drive roll. A tension measuring apparatus 200 is placed on the carbon fiber woven fabric 4 so that a lower surface 202a of an indenter 202 is brought into contact with a measurement region. A warp tension is acquired by converting a load read from a load cell 206, in a state that a lower surface 204a of a support part 204 is in contact with the carbon fiber woven fabric 4. Warp tension is measured at a plurality of points in the width direction in the carbon fiber woven fabric 4 between the pressing roll and the drive roll to acquire the distribution in the width direction. Then, contact pressure distribution of the nip roll is adjusted based thereon to uniformize the distribution of the warp tension in the width direction, when weaving is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
