Abstract:
To provide a toner for electrostatic charge image development that prevents the occurrence of rain drops due to passing of toner while maintaining wear resistance of a photoreceptor and a cleaning blade, forms high-quality images stably for a long period, and considers environmental safety, a method for manufacturing a toner for electrostatic charge image development, and an image forming method.SOLUTION: A toner for electrostatic charge image development of the present invention is a toner for electrostatic charge image development including toner particles each consisting of at least a toner base particle and an external additive. The content of titanium oxide as the external additive is 1 part by mass or less based on 100 parts by mass of the toner base particle, and the amount of metal [A](CPS) on a surface of a photoreceptor and a photoreceptor wear α value [B], which are measured by the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy when 5000 sheets of A4 fine paper (basis weight: 68 g/m2) are printed with a coverage of 20% under an environment of 30°C and 80%RH, satisfy the relationship of the formula (1) or the formula (2). The formula (1): 30000≤[A]≤50000; the formula (2): 2.50≤[B]≤5.00.SELECTED DRAWING: None
