Abstract:
To provide an inductor containing an element assembly which is formed to be incorporated between two preliminary molded bodies and in which a coil is arranged with high position accuracy.SOLUTION: In an inductor having an element assembly which is formed by incorporating a coil 6 into an integrated preliminary molded body and pressurizing the coil 6, the coil includes a winding portion 8 in which a flat wire having a rectangular cross-section is wound in a spiral shape of two stages, and lead-out portions 10 and 12 led out from each of the two stages. The integrated preliminary molded body is formed by joining a first preliminary molded body 20 and a second preliminary molded body 40 containing magnetic powder and resin. The difference between a first distance from a lower surface (reference surface) of a bottom surface portion 22 to a bottom surface 26d of a first notch portion 26 and a second distance from the reference surface to a bottom surface 28d of a second notch portion 28 is approximately an integral multiple of the length in the width direction of the flat wire.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
