Abstract:
To output an interesting map image which has been not conventionally able to be output.SOLUTION: A map generation device comprises: a background image storage unit in which one or more background images are stored; a map image storage unit in which a map image having a road is stored; a synthesis unit which acquires one of the background images in the background image storage unit, acquires the map image of the map image storage unit, and synthesizes the one of the background images and the map image using a machine learning technique to acquire a synthetic map image which is an image having a feature of the one of the background images and the map image; and an output unit which outputs the synthetic map image.
