To provide a Low-E glass plate protection method, whereby alteration of a Low-E layer can be prevented or suppressed.SOLUTION: Provided is a Low-E glass plate protection method. This protection method involves the step of pasting a protection sheet to the surface of a Low-E glass plate equipped with a Low-E layer. Here, the protective sheet has an adhesive layer. The low-E layer contains a zinc component. The adhesive layer includes: ammonia; and an acid or acid salt which can be counter ions of ammonium ions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
