Title:
OXIDATIVE-POLYMERIZABLE INTAGLIO INK COMPOSITION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2021011564
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide an intaglio ink composition that eliminates the need for a UV irradiation process, has relatively small environmental load, and has moderate handleability at room temperature.SOLUTION: An oxidative-polymerizable intaglio ink composition has: at least one oxidation-curable varnish selected from the group consisting of vegetable oils and modified vegetable oils in an amount of 15 wt.% to 70 wt.% of the total weight of the oxidative-polymerizable intaglio ink composition; at least one low-melting-point wax having a melt temperature range between 50°C and 85°C in an amount of 4 wt.% to 30 wt.% of the total weight of the intaglio ink composition; at least one pigment; and at least one desiccant. When the oxidative-polymerizable intaglio ink composition is heated to a temperature where the melting of the low-melting-point wax occurs and set to 30°C, relative to a storage elastic modulus as an elastic component of a dynamic modulus at the temperature where the melting of the low-melting-point wax occurs, a storage elastic modulus at 30°C after heating is 110 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
