Abstract:
To provide a coil spring type mat structure which is thinner and has better deformation performance than conventional coil spring type mattresses, can be folded and twisted like a cushion in a deformable manner, and is comfortable to sit on, which was not possible with conventional cushions.SOLUTION: A mat structure comprises coil springs 31 that are aligned in plurality in a front-back direction and a left-right direction and expand and contract in a vertical direction, an upper side sheet 11 that spreads in the front-back direction and the left-right direction and covers the upper ends of the plurality of coil springs, and a lower side sheet that spreads in the front-back direction and the left-right direction and covers the lower ends of the plurality of coil springs. The upper side sheet 11 and the lower side sheet are joined to each other by a joint point 41 at a point-like interval between adjacent coil springs, and compress the coil springs 31 in the vertical direction. The mat structure is elastically deformed to the compression side in the vertical direction by receiving an external force, and can be elastically deformed to the expansion side in the front-back direction and the left-right direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
