Abstract:
To provide: a TPU cover material that has desirable shear durability without the need for a secondary curing or treatment step; and particularly suitable golf ball constructions including such cover materials.SOLUTION: A golf ball has a thermoplastic outer cover layer formed from a thermoplastic polyurethane composition. The golf ball is produced without the use of a secondary treatment step that results in the crosslinking of the polyurethane cover composition.SELECTED DRAWING: None
