Abstract:
To accurately calculate characteristics of a model of an electric motor or an electric generator in simulation.SOLUTION: A model characteristic calculation device 1 comprises: an iron loss calculation unit 24 that calculates an iron loss Wi of a model; an iron loss correction unit 28 that corrects the iron loss Wi to an iron loss Wi' so that the iron loss Wi calculated by the iron loss calculation unit 24 approaches an iron loss of an actual electric motor or generator; and a compensation unit 29 that performs at least one process of a powering compensation process that compensates characteristics of a loss incurred in the model during powering using the iron loss Wi' corrected by the iron loss correction unit 28, for the characteristics of the model during the powering, and a regeneration compensation process that compensates the characteristics of a loss incurred in the model during regeneration using the iron loss Wi' corrected by the iron loss correction unit 28, for the characteristics of the model during the regeneration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
