Abstract:
To provide a lens unit and a camera module that can lead an electric wire extending from an electrical functional member provided inside a lens barrel to an image side, without impairing assembly work, without a need of ensuring a wiring space inside the lens barrel, and without forming a narrow through-hole in the lens barrel over substantially its entire length.SOLUTION: A lens barrel 12 of a lens unit 11 of the present invention is provided with a first through-hole 12d that extends inside a lateral wall 12c of the lens barrel 12 in a longitudinal direction from an object side toward an image side in order to lead an electric wire 52 extending from an electrical functional member 50 to an end on the image side of a flange 25B, a second through-hole 12e that is provided in the lateral wall 12c of the lens barrel 12 to extend in a radial direction in order to communicate the first through-hole 12d to an outside of the lens barrel 12, and an accommodation groove 12f that extends in an outer peripheral surface of the lateral wall 12c of the lens barrel 12 in the longitudinal direction from the object side toward the image side to communicate with the second through-hole 12e in order to accommodate the electric wire 52 lead out from the second through-hole 12e to the outside of the lens barrel 12 and lead the electric wire to the image side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
