Abstract:
To enable cleaning processing to be appropriately performed in processing for starting up a device so that deterioration in printing quality and poor operation are prevented.SOLUTION: When power of an inkjet recording device is turned off, a cleaning information recording part is made to record the fact that either first cleaning operation using a main power-supply voltage or second cleaning operation using an extra power-supply voltage has been performed. In starting up the inkjet recording device, operation of cleaning the inkjet recording device is made to differ between when the first cleaning operation is performed and when the second cleaning operation is performed, in turning off power last time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 21
