Abstract:
To provide a refrigerator which can perform a further appropriate cooling control.SOLUTION: A refrigerator according to the embodiment includes a housing, a cooling part, a door, a detecting part, and a control part. The housing includes a storing part. The cooling part cools the storing part. The door closes the storing part in an openable/closable manner. The detecting part detects opening/closing of the door. The control part can control the cooling part in a first special control mode in which the cooling automatically ends when a predefined condition is met, or a second special control mode which sequentially repeats a first cooling control and a second cooling control for cooling the storing part under a higher temperature range or a higher air-pressure range compared to that of the first cooling control. When the first special control mode automatically ends upon meeting the predefined condition, the control part automatically starts the second special control mode in the case where the opening of the door is not detected by the detecting part for the predefined period of time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
