Abstract:
To solve the problem in which: in a conventional motor abnormality detection device, a comparator is provided for every motor driver to detect an overcurrent; however, when a number of motors are present in a system, the number of the comparators is increased and the comparators cannot be stored in an IC mounted in one semiconductor package, which may cause an increase in cost.SOLUTION: In the present invention, an analog switch is provided on an input side of a comparator connected with a current detection resistor by using resources prepared for an analog FPGA to reduce the number of comparators. A motor abnormality detection device can thus be provided which can detect an overcurrent without causing an increase in cost.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
