Abstract:
To provide a printing device that performs conveyance operation of conveying a medium to be printed in the opposite direction of a conveying direction at the time of performing printing, which can reduce influence of the conveyance operation on subsequent printing.SOLUTION: A printing device 1 comprises a conveying part 27, a printing part 28 and a control part 20. The conveying part has a conveying roller 6 that conveys a medium 13 to be printed, which can convey the medium to be printed in a first direction and convey the medium in a second direction opposite to the first direction, by switching a rotating direction of the conveying roller. The printing part has a printing head 701 that contacts the medium to be printed when performing printing on the medium to be printed, on the basis of printing data. The control part, when finishing conveyance operation of conveying the medium to be printed in the second direction by the conveying part, controls operation of the conveying part so that the conveyance operation is finished after the medium to be printed is conveyed by a predetermined conveyance amount in the first direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
