Abstract:
To provide polyethylene powder that can achieve both of impact resistance and wear resistance in various moldings made from polyethylene powder, and has excellent transparency and allows stains to be detected easily.SOLUTION: Polyethylene powder has an ethylene unit and/or an ethylene unit and a C3-8 α-olefin unit as constitutional units. The polyethylene powder has a viscosity average molecular weight of 1,000,000 or more and 10,000,000 or less. When the polyethylene powder is molded into a sheet under compression molding conditions described in JIS K6936-2, the sheet molding has yellowness YI, whiteness WI, and density ρ each satisfying the following formula (1): 0.50≤(-YI)×WI/ρ<2.0.SELECTED DRAWING: None
