Abstract:
To provide a recycling method for a sleeve provided on an electrocast roll which can be efficiently manufactured at low cost without spending much time.SOLUTION: A recycling method for a sleeve is provided comprises creating a cylindrical electroformed plate 210 by laser welding, preparing a sleeve 100 in which a tapered portion 110 on one end of the sleeve is formed, abutting the one end of the cylindrical electroformed plate on the tapered portion of the sleeve and pushing the one end into the sleeve, thereby inserting the tapered portion of the sleeve to the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical electroformed plate while enlarging and plastically deforming a contact portion with the sleeve of the cylindrical electroformed plate, and closing the pressurized gas supply port with the cylindrical electroformed plate and then pressurizing and supplying gas into the sleeve, and pushing the end of the cylindrical electroformed plate up to a predetermined position of the sleeve, wherein the electroforming roll has a new cylindrical electroformed plate by taking out the sleeve from the used electroforming roll in a reverse step to the above step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
