Abstract:
PURPOSE:To avoid excess damage of a fertilizer, simultaneously prolong a fertilizer holding period and grow paddy rice young seedlings, by sowing rice seeds in fertilizer-free soil and covering the seeds with covering soil containing respective specific amounts of nitrogen, phosphoric acid and potassium as fertilizer components. CONSTITUTION:Rice seeds are sown in soil for sending consisting of mountain, farmland soil, etc., without containing fertilizer components added thereto and then covered with covering soil containing nitrogen (N), phosphoric acid P2O5 and potassium (K2O) in respective amounts of 0.05-0.2wt.%. Furthermore, the above-mentioned covering soil is produced by adding the aforementioned fertilizer components, sterilizing the soil and adjusting the pH. The soil is preferably granulated to about 5-32mesh grain size for slowly eluting the fertilizer components held in a large concentration by irrigation. The rice seeds are preferably covered with the covering soil of about 0.7cm thickness.
