Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify a means for a fault diagnosis of a unit and to reduce the cost of the entire system by monitoring whether or not other unit is normal and sending a backup data in place of a faulty unit when the faulty unit is detected. CONSTITUTION:When reply comes from units U2, U4, U5 and a unit U3 gives no reply with respect to a transmission request from a monitor unit U1 to the units U2-U6, the monitor unit U1 discriminates it that the unit U3 is faulty. Then the monitor unit U1 sends a backup data stored in the monitor unit U1 to the units U4, U5 in place of the data to output auxiliary devices O34, O35 controlled by a message from the unit U3. Simultaneously, the monitor unit U1 informs the occurrence of a fault in the system to a driver through the processing such as lighting of a meter alarm lamp. Thus, the system is simplified and the cost is reduced.
