Abstract:

To well suppress deterioration of catalyst for purifying exhaust gas by appropriately increasing a fuel supply quantity to an internal combustion engine.

A hybrid car 20 sets a tentative limit value Win0 fixing a relationship with a map for setting a first and a second OT quantity increase coefficient as a quantity increase restriction of a fuel injection quantity to an engine 22 so as to adjust an input limit Win of a battery 50 and temperatures of an exhaust purifying catalyst on the basis of a suction air quantity GA indicating the traveling state of the engine 22 (step S220), and controls the engine 22, and motors MG1, MG2 so as to output a driving force based on a set requirement torque Tr*as well as operates the engine 22 with the increase in quality of the fuel injection quantity according to the map for setting a first and second OT quantity increase coefficient set on the basis of the input limit Win and the limit value Win0, when prohibiting fuel cut in response to a determination result whether or not the fuel cut should be prohibited on the basis of the input limit Win.
