To provide an illuminated switch which is easily manufactured and works stably regardless of place where the switch is depressed.
Two sheets of substrates with transparent conductive films, each of which is composed of a transparent substrate, a transparent conductive film formed on the surface of the transparent substrate by printing method, a frame of a metal film which is electrically connected to and running around edges of the transparent conductive film, and a metal terminal electrically connected to the frame of the metal film, are bonded together so that the sides on which the transparent conductive films are formed of respective substrates face each other across a spacer preventing contact of the films to form a transparent switch. The illuminated switch comprises the transparent switch, an organic electroluminescence element prepared on one side of the transparent switch, and a driving circuit which detects the contact between the transparent conductive films and supplies electric energy to the organic electroluminescence element.
