Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method of a fuel cell power generation system in which byproduct hydrogen is made most of regardless of its supply volume and continued operation of the fuel cell is made possible even when the generated volume of the byproduct hydrogen becomes zero. SOLUTION: In the operation method of a fuel cell power generation system which uses high concentration hydrogen gas such as byproduct hydrogen as main fuel gas for a fuel cell 1 and uses a reformed gas obtained by hydrocarbon system crude fuel steam reformed by fuel reforming equipment 7 as auxiliary fuel gas, the load on the fuel reforming equipment is larger than the reforming load with which the operation can be continued.
