Abstract:
To provide a membrane electrode assembly for a tube type fuel cell capable of miniaturizing, having high output density per volume, and having high current collecting efficiency.
The membrane electrode assembly of the tube type fuel cell is formed by using multi-layer carbon nano-tubes. A tube-shaped solid electrolyte membrane is formed between the inside layer of the multi-layer carbon nano-tubes and the outside layer formed on the outside of the inside layer, and a catalyst is carried in the inside layer and the outside layer.
