Abstract:

To provide an electrode active material having high capacity density and capable of providing high current, and to provide a battery having high energy density and capable of providing a high output.

The electrode active material containing a compound (a) having structure represented by formula (1) in a molecule is used. In the formula (1), R1represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; R2and R3independently represent either one of a hydrogen atom, a 1-4C alkyle group, a 1-3C alcoxy group, a trifluoromethyl group, and a fluorine atom.
