In a radio LAN system 10 having an access point 20 for relaying communications of one or more radio terminals 30, the access point 20 includes: an NAV setting section 23 for setting a Network Allocation Vector to the access point 20, to a predetermined signal to be transmitted to a radio terminal 30; a transmission control section 24 for determining whether at least one of radio terminals 30 is in power-saving state, changing to stop setting of NAV of the predetermined signal when there is a radio terminal 30 in power-saving state and when the predetermined signal is a beacon signal, or changing a timing to transmit the predetermined signal in accordance with a timing to transmit the beacon signal having 0 DTIM count when the predetermined signal is any one of MAC signals other than the beacon signal; and a radio communication section 21 for transmitting the predetermined signal to the radio terminal.
