To provide a mobile terminal, a display control program and a display control method, for quickly changing images to be displayed.

A slide type mobile terminal 10 includes a magnetic sensor 38 for detecting an open state and a closed state and a magnet 40, and a first casing (C1) and a second casing (C2) are slid. Also, the mobile terminal 10 has a camera function and photographed image data are preserved in a folder provided in a flash memory 28. Also, when an image switching function is executed, multiple image data are read from the flash memory 28 and developed into display data, and then multiple display data are stored in a cache 30. Then, when the mobile terminal 10 is turned to the open state, the display data stored in the cache 30 are switched in order to change the image to be displayed on a display 26. Thus, the multiple display data are developed in the cache 30a, so that a user can quickly change the image just by turning the mobile terminal 10 to the open state.
