Abstract:

To provide a control system for a high-safety autonomous traveling robot, allowing both the autonomous traveling robot and a general user to ride in an elevator car all together.

The control system for the autonomous traveling robot includes: a robot movement detection means 122 installed in an elevator 100, to detect movement of the autonomous traveling robot 1 in the car 101; a robot abnormal signal transmission means 123 installed in the elevator 100, to receive a movement detection signal from the robot movement detection means 122, and transmit an abnormal signal to the autonomous traveling robot 1; and a robot abnormal stop means 73 installed in the autonomous traveling robot 1, to receive the abnormal signal, and stop the movement of the autonomous traveling robot 1. When the autonomous traveling robot 1 moves in the car 101 of the elevator 100, the movement is detected by the robot movement detection means 122, the abnormal signal is transmitted to the autonomous traveling robot 1 from the robot abnormal signal transmission means 123, and the autonomous traveling robot 1 stops the movement by the robot abnormal stop means 73.
