To provide a medical image processor which estimates a peak of time changes of pixel values and generates image data at the peak time.
A TDC (time density curve) generating section 4 generates a TDC showing time changes of CT values within a region of interest using X-ray projection data acquired by photographing a subject injected with a contrast medium. A peak estimation section 5 acquires the inclination of a first time point in the time changes of CT values, specifies a second time point by moving the first time point for a predetermined time interval in accordance with the inclination in the direction that the CT value becomes large, and acquires a CT value difference between the first time point and the second time point. The procedures are carried out in a series. When the CT value difference is smaller than a predetermined value, the peak estimation section 5 estimates that the second time point is the peak of time changes of the CT values. When the CT value difference is equal to or larger than the predetermined value, the peak estimation section sets the second time point as a new first time point, shortens the predetermined time interval for a predetermined time, and repeats the series of procedures until the CT value difference becomes smaller than the predetermine value.
