Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress undesired display of information showing a list of contents recorded in a recording medium connected to a display device such as a projector.SOLUTION: A display device comprises: communication means for communicating with an external device; and connection means for connecting a recording medium. The display device also comprises: display means for displaying screen data received from the external device through the communication means; reception means for receiving an acquisition request for information showing a list of contents recorded in the recording medium from the external device through the communication means; transmission means for acquiring the requested information from the recording medium in response to the acquisition request and transmitting it to the external device through the communication means; and display control means for performing display control so that screen data newly received from the external device in response to the acquisition request is not displayed by the display means in a readable state.
