Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively guide the user of a radio terminal to the installation position of a digital signage which displays advertisement content.SOLUTION: An information providing device includes: storage means for storing announcement information announcing the holding of a participation type event to be performed by interlocking a radio terminal and a digital signage and the installation position of the digital signage; terminal detection means for detecting the radio terminal which is able to perform access via a radio LAN access point having a communication area including the installation position of the digital signage to a site on the basis of information to be transmitted from the radio LAN access point; and notification means for, when the participation type event is held, notifying the radio terminal detected by the terminal detection means of the announcement information via the radio LAN access point.
