Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a creation method of color sample candidate printed matter which allows for easy identification of color data for representing a color sample.SOLUTION: Tristimulus values (X, Y, Z) of a color sample object having colors to be color samples are measured, and converted into predetermined color data. The color data thus converted serves as the reference color data, and a plurality of different approximate color data for representing a color approximate to a color represented by the reference color data is created. While keeping the correspondence of the reference color data and a plurality of different approximate color data thus created, and each color patch printed by these color data, each color patch is printed according to the reference color data and the plurality of approximate color data thus creating a color sample candidate printed matter.
