Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanner device that is able to recognize a character string described in the range of a mark on a document so as to be invisible on a scanned image.SOLUTION: A scanner device comprises: a reading part that scans a document with visible light and ultraviolet ray; a mark recognition part that recognizes, at the start position and the end position of an interval mark, which is a line segment, a start mark and an end mark, vertically described with respect to the interval mark, from an image scanned with the ultraviolet ray; a character-string recognition part that recognizes, from an image scanned with the visible light, a character string described in the range of the start mark, the interval mark, and the end mark; and a file storage part that uses, as a file name, the character string recognized by the character-string recognition part, and exerts control such that the image scanned with the visible image is stored.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
